R.I.P Larry

Brother Lawrence Burdick "Big Bear" (pictured left) of Joaquin Muirreta #13 past away last week of brain cancer.  Best friend of Jim "Crimp" Jarvis (pictured right), they co-wrote "Murder on the Barbary Coast", and attended high school together in Livermore during their formative years.

A former book shop owner, teacher, Sci-Fi enthusiast, and devoted husband, Larry was a reserved warm welcoming brother.

We're getting together tomorrow to remember our friend, and hoist a few drinks in his honor.

You and anyone who knew him is welcome to join us:

XNGH “Dynamite” Deke (1931-2022)

I put my Humbug hat to my chest as I am sad to report that YB1's XNGH #47 "Dynamite Deke" Sonnichsen has gone to the Golden Hills. For many years, Deke has been our Historian and shared his knowledge with many Poor Blind Candidates. Many of you remember him launching anvils into the air, with his smile.
